Liz Wilson - Associate
Liz Wilson is a experienced Chartered Accountant who spent 12 years in the risk management practice of a “Big 4” firm, where specialised in the design and implementation of review frameworks to monitor the compliance of third parties with complex regulatory regimes.
Liz has spent the last 7 years working as a business consultant, specialising in troubleshooting problems with financial processes, systems and controls. She is an expert in business process redesign, focusing particularly on embedding effective and efficient controls within processes.
Her recent experience includes:
- A Statutory Inquiry into the affairs of a Housing Association to determine whether there may have been misconduct or mismanagement in the Association’s affairs
- A high level review of systems and controls for a Housing Association following reports of dissatisfaction with the timeliness and quality of management information, delays in paying suppliers and inaccurate rent postings.
